I have owned this camera for over a year and have taken it all over the world. Having started with a Kodak point and shoot I was immediately shocked by the speed and picture quality, not to mention I can enlarge the photos without them becoming grainy. I have purchased three lenses for it and spent less than 0 for all three at a local pawn shop.
If your budget is restricted, this camera is definitely for you. I shopped around and picked mine up with a kit lens for 0. Awesome!!

I had seen the larger version of this backpack (the 75) and it seemed to be very flexible and well made, so I sought out the 74. Of course, I think they are discontinuing this line and calling it the Explorer or something, but this is a great pack. The way the digital SLR fits in there is great and the soft velcro dividers are easily customizable. The zippers are great and the fact that it works with Tamrac’s accessory system is a bonus. Perfect side for the beginning DSLR photographer to grow into.

After using this bag daily for the past 3 weeks I find it sturdily built with quality materials, optimally sized for daily use, and lightweight yet with plenty of padding. It’s stealthy in that it doesn’t really look like a typical camera case. My Canon EOS 450D fits snugly in the main compartment with a point-n-shoot and a couple of lenses. The case opens very cleverly and the main compartment can be accessed from the top or the front – very cool.
I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the cost. I found it on sale () at a national electronics merchant, which made the price easier to swallow.

I bought this baby used for 40 bucks it was in mint condition. I read the reviews here and most didnt like the lens that came with the camera. I went out and got 2 other lenses a Canon 50mm f1.8 and a Sigma 70 – 300mm f4-5.6. Needless to say the pictures came out GREAT!! I had to get used to the fact that when you load the film it goes all the way to the end of the roll and shoots backwards. You get 24 exposures, when i loaded my other cameras manually you could squeeze in a extra frame or two. I dont mind about that this is a great camera if you are just starting out to shooting with film.
